How Early Do I Need to Arrive?

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your initial evaluation if you still need to complete paperwork. *Please feel free to utilize our outdoor covered porch on the Village Center Green while you wait.

What Does Out-of-Network Mean?

This means that GFPT has not contracted with your insurance company for reimbursement at a negotiated rate. We can give you one-on-one time and attention to reach your health goals, unlike conventional in-network practices.

Do You Take Insurance?

GFPT is an out-of-network provider. We still can work with most insurance companies as an non-participating provider.

Prior to scheduling your first evaluation we will contact your insurance company to verify your benefits and provide you an estimate of your out-of-pocket costs. Your payment is due when services are provided.

How Do I Know if PT Can Help Me?

We are happy to schedule an evaluation to determine if you are an appropriate candidate for PT services. If your diagnosis is out of our scope, we will work with you to determine an appropriate referral. If you have any questions please call 703-349-1030 or email info@greatfallspt.com to determine if you would benefit from an evaluation.

Do I Need a Doctor’s Referral?

Virginia is a Direct Access State. This allows for most patients to directly access a physical therapist without a physician referral. For more information about Direct Access, please visit the American Physical Therapy Association website. *Medicare patients require MD referral for PT.
